First Things First: Let It Fluff

Your comforter travels vacuum-compressed. When it arrives, take it out of the packaging, give it a good shake, and lay it flat.

The best trick: a couple of hours in direct sunlight — warmth relaxes the compressed fibres and brings up the full loft. Give it 24–48 hours before you judge the fluffiness; it gets better every hour.

Washing

2–3 times a year is plenty — a cover does the daily work.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. No bleach. No fabric softener (it coats the fibres and flattens the loft). Larger sizes may need a big-capacity machine or a laundromat.

Drying

Tumble dry on the lowest heat and lowest spin, with nothing else in the drum — or line dry in sunlight, which also restores the loft.

Either way, make sure it is completely dry before use or storage. Dry cleaning is also possible.

Everyday Care

Shake it out weekly, use the corner loops to tie it into your quilt cover so it never slips, and flip it monthly.

Choosing a Quilt Cover

Go by measurements, not size names:

Single 152 × 203 cm  ·  Queen 200 × 230 cm  ·  King 230 × 230 cm  ·  Super King 230 × 270 cm
A slightly larger cover is fine — the corner loops hold everything in place.

Storage

Use your Baire Threads duffel bag — it is breathable by design. Never vacuum-store long term; it permanently flattens the fill.

Troubleshooting

Looks flat? Sunlight + 48 hours.

Fill shifted? Shake and redistribute while flat.

Faint “new” smell? Airing removes it in a day.
