Will I get too hot under it? It looks like it would, but it doesn't. CloudSoft is fluffy without being stuffy, so you stay comfy rather than too warm. Hot sleepers and cold sleepers both tend to get on well with it.
Is it good for sensitive skin? Yes. The fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, which means it's been tested and found free from harmful substances. It's soft, smooth and hypoallergenic — plenty of customers buy it for their kids' rooms too.
Do I need a duvet cover? No. CloudSoft is made to be slept under on its own. The fabric is soft enough to sleep right against, and it goes straight in the wash, so keeping it fresh is easy. If you'd rather use a cover, that works perfectly too.
Will the filling bunch up after washing? No. The filling is stitched into a grid so it can't drift into the corners or go lumpy. Even after lots of washes it stays evenly spread, with no flat spots.
How do I wash it? Pop it in the washing machine on a gentle cold cycle with a mild detergent. No dry cleaning, no covers to take off. Then hang it to dry. That's it.
What's the filling made from? A soft, feather-free microfibre that feels as plush as down without the allergens, the poking quills or the smell. Nothing sheds and nothing works its way through.
Is it heavy? It's thick and fluffy, with a lovely bit of weight to it, but it's not heavy. Just that nice tucked-in feeling without feeling held down.
